Life Legacy
Victor J. Garibaldi
Passed away peacefully on July 10, 2010 at the age 89. A native San Franciscan, Victor is predeceased by his parents Vittorio & Margaret; his eight siblings; and his loving wife of 66 years, Adele. He is survived by his loving children, Daniel (Lauren), Victoria Lotz (Richard), & Louis (Linda); his beloved 12 grandchildren; adored 15 great-grandchildren; and numerous cousins, nieces, & nephews.
Victor proudly served the city of San Francisco as a Fireman for over 29 years, retiring as a Captain in 1976. He was also a former member of the St. Elizabeth Over 50 Club, the Portola Seniors Club, Amercan Legion Post 0456, Retired Firemen & Widows Association, and the Retired Employees of the City & County of San Francisco Association. Victor was always generous with his time and willing to help anyone in need. We will miss him and remember him always.
Family and friends may visit after 4:00PM on Wednesday and are invited to attend the vigil service also on Wednesday at 7:00PM all at the chapels of Valente Marini Perata & Co., 4840 Mission St., SF. The funeral will be held on Thursday at 10:00AM at St. Elizabeth Church, corners of Somerset & Wayland Sts.
